Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Conducting a thorough assessment of the existing facilities at LARI Tal Amara center to understand the specific requirements for the seed storage silos.
Developing detailed design plans for the steel seed storage silos, ensuring they are structurally sound and capable of meeting the storage needs.
Collaborating with agricultural experts and stakeholders to incorporate best practices in seed storage into the design.
Preparing technical documentation and specifications for the construction of the silos.
Presenting design proposals to LARI and making necessary adjustments based on feedback.
Ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards in the design process.
Providing support during the implementation phase, if required, to ensure the design is executed as intended.
Completing the project within the stipulated timeline and budget.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong background in civil or structural engineering, with specific expertise in the design of storage facilities. Proficiency in design software and tools is essential, along with a solid understanding of materials used in construction, particularly steel.
