Duties and Responsibilities: The Logistics and Equipment Management Technician will operate the Front Desk, serving as the primary customer interface for the distribution of equipment and supplies. Responsibilities include monitoring and categorizing service-related requests, performing asset registration and lifecycle management, administering Low Value Purchasing, and completing administrative tasks such as travel arrangements and office space management. The technician will also handle logistical duties, including warehouse activities, procurement, quality checks of goods, inventory control, and providing training and support to other teams. Additional tasks may involve executing routine shipments, managing shipment files, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards during manual handling of equipment.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess expertise in asset information management and a solid understanding of asset lifecycle management principles. Proficiency in using ticketing systems for service requests and familiarity with Microsoft Office products is essential. Experience in inventory control, shipping, and international transportation is required, along with knowledge of hazardous materials and safety regulations. A completed secondary education is mandatory, and certifications such as IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation and ADR driving license are advantageous.
Educational Background: A completed secondary education is required for this position. Technical education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is considered an asset. Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant work experience, preferably in an international environment.
