Job Overview: The Consultant for Private Fundraising and Partnerships will play a crucial role in diversifying income sources and developing strategic partnerships with the private sector to improve the situation of children and protect their rights in Morocco. This position requires a strong understanding of private fundraising, corporate social responsibility, and institutional fundraising. The consultant will be expected to mobilize resources through corporate philanthropy, promote positive changes in business practices, and support programs for children. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines. The consultant will also be responsible for writing quality reports and proposals, and will engage in consultation exercises with various stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies for private fundraising and partnerships to support UNICEF's mission in Morocco.
Identify and engage potential corporate partners and stakeholders to mobilize resources for children's programs.
Promote corporate social responsibility initiatives that align with UNICEF's goals.
Write high-quality reports and proposals to secure funding and support from private sector partners.
Conduct consultation exercises with stakeholders to gather insights and foster collaboration.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and partnerships.
Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and stakeholders to ensure ongoing support.
Represent UNICEF at meetings, conferences, and events related to fundraising and partnerships.
At least five years of progressively responsible experience in private fundraising, partnerships, and corporate social responsibility.
Experience in institutional fundraising and content marketing for social organizations.
Knowledge of UNICEF's mandate and system is highly valued.
Experience in fundraising for United Nations organizations is an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong writing skills for reports and proposals.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communication, or a related field is required for this position. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of fundraising and partnerships in the context of social organizations and the private sector.
Experience: Candidates should have at least five years of progressively responsible and relevant professional work experience in private fundraising and partnerships, as well as corporate social responsibility issues. Experience working within the business and private sector is considered an asset, and familiarity with the United Nations system, particularly UNICEF, will be highly regarded.
Languages: The mandatory languages for this position are Arabic, French, and English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and partners.
