Job Overview: As a Junior Expert in HR - People and Organizational Development (POD), you will play a crucial role in supporting the internal HR team in enhancing skills and career development initiatives on a global scale. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about learning and development, particularly in the context of global and fragile environments. Your work will involve coordinating and optimizing the internal learning management system, which is based on Cornerstone, and will include data analytics to improve processes and content. You will also be responsible for planning and organizing trainer-led training sessions and supporting the onboarding process for new employees through both e-learning and live sessions. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of innovative learning concepts that incorporate future skills and technology, such as AI. This role requires collaboration with various teams and external partners to ensure effective communication and delivery of development programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate and enhance the Cornerstone-based internal learning management system, focusing on data analytics and process optimization.
Plan, coordinate, and organize the trainer-led training portfolio to ensure effective learning experiences.
Support the coordination and delivery of online onboarding training, including e-learning modules and live sessions for new staff.
Contribute to the methodological and pedagogical development of innovative learning concepts aimed at future-oriented learning.
Co-develop and pilot a global, modular talent development program tailored to the needs of the organization.
Provide support and advice to managers and employees regarding individual development measures.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across different teams globally, as well as with external partners to enhance learning initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
A University or College degree in Adult Learning Education, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field is essential.
Initial professional experience and knowledge in adult education and digital learning are required.
Prior experience with Learning Management Systems, particularly Cornerstone, and familiarity with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and content creation methods like videos and podcasts would be advantageous.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary, with knowledge of Power BI considered a plus.
A high level of personal initiative, strong team spirit, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.
Excellent intercultural communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments, especially in fragile contexts, are required.
A willingness to develop skills in data-informed approaches to enhance work effectiveness is important.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a University or College degree in relevant fields such as Adult Learning Education, Psychology, Human Resources, or similar disciplines. This educational background is critical for understanding the principles of adult learning and the dynamics of human resource development.
Experience: The position requires initial professional experience in adult education and digital learning. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, particularly Cornerstone, and experience with content creation tools are highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach and the ability to work independently while also being effective team players.
Languages: Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German is mandatory for this position. Additionally, knowledge of French is considered an advantage, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate in a multilingual environment.
Additional Notes: The position is available for a contract duration of two years, with a monthly salary of 4,008€.
