The Business Support Assistant will also be responsible for managing staff movements, particularly in emergency situations, ensuring compliance with UN rules and minimizing security risks. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Business Support Assistant (Security) include but are not limited to: collating information for reports and documents to support the work of other staff; responding to standard queries and providing accurate guidance; processing and managing routine administrative and financial tasks; maintaining records and databases to ensure information is organized and accessible; maintaining relationships with various individuals to facilitate information sharing; proofreading reports and documentation; contributing to the improvement of business procedures; collecting and analyzing data for quality business information management; providing guidance to junior colleagues; and performing other related duties as required. The role is essential for ensuring the safe and effective management of staff movements, particularly under emergency conditions, and involves authorizing and documenting all movements through security clearances and operational preparations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a completion of secondary school education, along with a post-secondary certificate in a related functional area. Additionally, candidates should have at least five years of progressively responsible work experience in general administrative work, preferably within the fields of security, military, police, or private security companies. Strong organizational, client orientation, and communication skills are essential, along with experience in report writing and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Candidates should also have experience in updating databases and maintaining records accurately and in a timely manner.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a completion of secondary school education, with a preference for candidates who have obtained a post-secondary certificate in a relevant functional area.
