Job Overview:
The position of Roster de Asistente Senior de Programas is designed to create a pool of qualified candidates who can be considered for future opportunities within the World Food Programme in Colombia. The selected candidates will be evaluated based on their profiles and experiences and may be included in a roster of eligible candidates that will remain valid for up to 24 months. Duties and Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the Roster de Asistente Senior de Programas include conducting specialized and standardized activities within the specific area of work, ensuring alignment with broader program policies and guidelines. The incumbent will provide support to project management and the Country Office to ensure that various activities are executed within established objectives, adhering to WFP's policies and procedures. Responsibilities also involve collecting data and assisting in the analysis and reporting of results related to food assistance needs, resource utilization, program progress, and achievements, which will contribute to operational decision-making. Required Qualifications:
The minimum standard qualifications for this position include the completion of secondary education. A university degree in international relations, economics, environmental sciences, social sciences, or another relevant field for international development assistance is desirable. Candidates should possess at least five years of professional experience related to the position, particularly in program implementation, strategic planning, project formulation, and international cooperation, especially with vulnerable communities in emergency response contexts. A minimum of five years of experience in the relevant operational area is required, along with general administrative experience. Specific desirable experience includes working in similar roles within humanitarian assistance and development programs, field operations in complex contexts, and experience with migrant populations, ethnic groups, and gender-based violence issues. Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and experience with web-based systems and corporate platforms are essential. Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and database packages is also required, along with experience using online systems.

Educational Background:
Candidates are required to have completed secondary education, with a preference for those holding a university degree in fields such as international relations, economics, environmental sciences, social sciences, or other relevant disciplines that pertain to international development assistance. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of humanitarian work and the socio-economic factors affecting vulnerable populations.

Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in areas related to program implementation, strategic planning, project formulation, and international cooperation. Experience working with vulnerable communities in emergency response contexts is particularly valuable. Additionally, candidates should have at least five years of operational experience in the relevant programmatic area, including general administrative tasks. Languages:
