Job Overview: The Digital TransformationAdvisor plays a crucial role in implementing the EBRD's Digital Approach, which focuses on financing digital transformation for clients, enhancing skills and awareness of digital trends, and establishing robust digital governance practices. The advisor will lead the development of standardized advisory offerings to assist clients in digitalizing their business functions, such as product management and marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">digital marketing. Additionally, the advisor will engage with banking teams to identify opportunities for investment in technology-based companies and lead digital pilot projects. The role also involves communicating the impact of digital investments and supporting the Hub's operational delivery against its objectives, ensuring alignment with the Bank's strategic priorities.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Digital Transformation Advisor will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Leading the development of an in-house advisory offering to assist clients in digitalizing key business functions.
Supporting discussions with banking teams to identify opportunities for direct investment in technology-based companies.
Leading digital pilot projects in collaboration with banking teams.
Supervising the maintenance of a database of EBRD digital projects and ensuring updates are made in coordination with relevant teams.
Communicating the impact of digital investments through drafting press releases, social media content, and briefing notes for senior management.
Supporting the Hub's operational delivery and cooperation with other international financial institutions.
Assisting in the organizational aspects of the Hub, including leading speaking engagements and preparing documentation for technical assistant projects.
Keeping abreast of digital developments and advising on new products and services the Digital Hub can offer.
Collaborating with the Policy, Strategy, and Delivery Department to identify barriers to digital transformation in the corporate sector.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant discipline or have completed relevant training. They should have a strong understanding of the digital landscape, including digital technologies applicable to sectors such as ICT and Agribusiness. A proactive team player with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining flexibility. Internal candidates should have a thorough knowledge of the Bank's procedures and policies, particularly regarding the Digital Approach.
Educational Background: A Master's degree in a relevant field is required, with a focus on disciplines that align with the EBRD's Digital Hub activities. Relevant training or certifications in digital transformation or related areas will also be considered beneficial.
Experience: Candidates should have substantial experience in the digital sector, with a strong understanding of digital processes and technologies. Prior experience in banking or financial services will be advantageous, as will familiarity with the EBRD's operational regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and delivering quality outputs under tight deadlines.
