Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistic Manager will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: ensuring compliance with NRC logistical guidelines and donor requirements; implementing NRC's logistics systems and procedures; developing country-specific logistics policy documentation; establishing and maintaining filing systems and archives according to NRC standards; managing leases, licenses, and contracts with relevant authorities and suppliers; overseeing the logistics team and providing training and support to line managers and staff with logistical responsibilities; contributing to program and project design, including budget development; managing allocated budget lines; conducting market analysis to support project modality decisions; performing audit and control checks to ensure compliance with the logistics handbook; promoting anti-corruption measures in procedures and training; setting key performance indicators for logistics activities; and advocating for the rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees in line with NRC's advocacy strategy.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Logistic Manager position should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior logistics management role within a humanitarian or recovery context. They should have a proven track record of success related to the responsibilities of the position, including experience in data collection, analysis, and report writing. Knowledge of market analysis tools and approaches is essential, as is an understanding of logistics management in complex and volatile environments. Candidates should also demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
