Job Overview:

The Assistant Analyst will work closely with the Client Services Group Departments to ensure that consultancy services are procured in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures. The role requires a proactive approach to managing procurement projects, ensuring compliance with established guidelines, and fostering effective relationships with internal stakeholders. The Assistant Analyst will also be involved in drafting contracts, preparing call-off notices, and analyzing market data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Analyst, PODD Banking will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: providing operational support for procurement projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and Bank policies; drafting consultancy contracts and amendments using pre-established templates; resolving pre- and post-contracting issues; preparing call-off notices for competitive procurement; reviewing proposed changes to contract terms; analyzing expenditure to identify cost-saving opportunities; maintaining professional relationships with internal stakeholders; contributing to contractual negotiations; assisting in the development of operational guidelines and training materials; and advocating for compliant solutions across the organization. The role requires a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to work collaboratively within project teams.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a working knowledge of EBRD and/or other Multilateral Development Banks' procurement policies, rules, and procedures. A solid understanding of commercial contracts is essential, along with the ability to interpret relevant documentation. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills, reliability, and flexibility in managing their workload. A proven numeric ability and attention to detail are critical, as is a results-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, along with the ability to draft reports and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Interpersonal skills are also important, as the role involves working with diverse teams and managing sensitive issues with discretion.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required for this position. Candidates should have a strong academic background that supports their understanding of procurement processes and contract management. Additional certifications or training in procurement or contract management would be advantageous.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have relevant experience in procurement or contract management, ideally within an international or multi-cultural environment. Experience working with procurement policies and procedures of international financial institutions is highly desirable. Languages:
