Job Overview:
The Solutions Architect position at the World Bank Group is a critical role that focuses on designing and implementing integrated technology solutions that meet strategic business requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Solutions Architect will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: designing scalable architecture solutions that meet client needs and adhere to industry standards; developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, processes, and standards; evaluating technologies and frameworks to enhance solution performance; conducting architectural reviews to ensure compliance with best practices; monitoring industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation; collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into product specifications; and supporting Agile teams in implementing architecture. The role also involves negotiating with stakeholders to align solutions architecture with business objectives and program increment planning, as well as providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Solutions Architect position should possess a Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field. An advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline is preferred. Additionally, candidates should have certifications such as Certified Solutions Architect (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI) and SAFe for Architects (ARCH) or SAFe DevOps (SDP). The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in enterprise architecture design, multi-platform integration, strategic technology evaluation, and Agile architecture leadership, along with strong business-technical translation skills.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the Solutions Architect role includes a Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related area. A Bachelor's degree may be acceptable if accompanied by significant relevant experience. Advanced certifications in solutions architecture and Agile methodologies are highly recommended to enhance the candidate's qualifications for this position.
