Job Overview: The position of Volunteer at UNICEF involves supporting the implementation of multisectoral programs in priority municipalities, particularly in Caicara del Orinoco, Venezuela. Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuous monitoring of the local context in Caicara del Orinoco, including risk scenario analysis and trends affecting vulnerable populations.
Evaluate socio-political and economic factors influencing child-focused interventions and identify implications for ongoing programs.
Apply priority indicators defined by the country office to implement a coherent and transparent monitoring system for the situation of children in the coverage area.
Ensure timely collection, verification, and communication of relevant data related to children to support evidence-based decision-making.
Support the monitoring of program execution across the assigned geographical area, ensuring compliance with agreements with implementing partners.
Provide viable recommendations on program execution, alternative approaches, and optimal resource use to promote the rights of children and women.
Collaborate with the Field Office Chief and the monitoring and evaluation team to enhance program effectiveness through systematic data collection and accurate reporting.
Represent UNICEF in relevant coordination forums, ensuring timely information flow to the field office and, when appropriate, to the country office.
Advocate for UNICEF's priorities and promote program objectives within the coverage area, supporting coordination among partners and local stakeholders. 1

Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to continuous learning. Additional Notes: This is a volunteer position with a monthly living allowance of 1,819 USD.
