Job Overview:
The US Individual Fundraising Advisor will play a crucial role in establishing and leading private individual giving initiatives within the US market. They will lead private individual fundraising efforts, ensuring alignment with NRC’s global strategy and contributing to overall fundraising goals. Specific duties include increasing unearmarked surplus income from private donations, achieving fundraising targets, managing fundraising products and channels, establishing a mid-level fundraising program, overseeing regular donor acquisition, and optimizing fundraising investments. The advisor will also be responsible for analyzing data to inform strategies, providing forecasts for income and costs, and ensuring compliance with regulations governing individual fundraising in the US.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in private fundraising within the US market, with documented experience in individual fundraising or marketing at scale. Experience working with partners and suppliers is essential, along with fluency in English, both written and verbal. Candidates should have experience in mid-level fundraising, regular giving programs, and a solid understanding of digital marketing and advertising. Knowledge of individual fundraising best practices, privacy and ethics, and regulations governing fundraising in the US is also required. Strong analytical skills and proven experience with CRM systems and marketing automation, ideally Salesforce, are necessary, as well as experience with data analysis and business intelligence systems.
