Job Overview: The Associate, Total Rewards position at PSI is designed to support the administration, education, and promotion of Total Rewards programs for HealthX Partners (HXP) and its subsidiaries, including PSI, EGPAF, and Viya Health. This role is integral to the People & Culture Team and reports directly to the Head of Total Rewards. The primary functions of this position include administering employee benefits programs, which encompass group health, COBRA, spending accounts, disability, group life insurance, voluntary benefits, retirement, wellness, and leave. The Associate will also be responsible for monitoring and responding to inquiries related to benefits, guiding employees through enrollment processes, and resolving administrative issues with third-party administrators. The role requires a proactive approach to managing benefits data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing communication platforms to facilitate employee engagement and understanding of Total Rewards offerings. The position is remote eligible, subject to manager approval, and is expected to contribute to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Associate, Total Rewards include:
Administering employee benefits programs, including group health, COBRA, spending accounts, disability, group life insurance, voluntary benefits, retirement, wellness, and leave.
Monitoring and responding to the Benefits email inbox, delivering benefits orientation, and guiding employees on benefits matters regarding enrollment, eligibility, coverage, claims, and provisions.
Coordinating with third-party administrators and carrier representatives to resolve administrative problems and correct vendor interface files.
Compiling and maintaining benefit and compensation data, reviewing documentation related to payroll and audits in the areas of Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS.
Providing financial management support by processing, auditing, and reconciling monthly Total Rewards invoices.
Supporting knowledge management activities, including compiling, maintaining, and updating Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS documentation and processes.
Coordinating and facilitating employee training and information sessions, enhancing communication platforms, and drafting organization-wide communications.
Assisting with ad hoc event planning and execution, data cleanup and uploads, reporting, allowance support, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Associate, Total Rewards position include:
A Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field.
At least 3 years of related experience in Total Rewards or a similar HR discipline. An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
A working knowledge of Total Rewards trends and regulations, as well as other HR disciplines such as Engagement and Performance Management.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to synthesize data and present insights clearly to non-HR professionals.
Strong organizational and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
Educational Background: The educational background required for the Associate, Total Rewards position includes a Bachelor's Degree or an international equivalent in a related field. This educational foundation is essential for understanding the complexities of employee benefits, compensation structures, and human resourceinformation systems (HRIS).
Experience: The position requires at least 3 years of related experience in Total Rewards or a similar HR function. Candidates with an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered. This experience should ideally include a working knowledge of benefits administration, compensation strategies, and HRIS management.
Languages: The mandatory language for this position is English, as effective communication is crucial for interacting with employees and stakeholders. While not required, proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly in regions where PSI operates, to enhance communication with diverse employee populations.
Additional Notes: This position is a 10-month contract and is eligible for remote work, subject to manager approval. Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in either Kenya or the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
