The role of the Asistente Técnico de Logística is crucial for the daily implementation of logistics management activities within the Rapid Response Unit. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Asistente Técnico de Logística will be responsible for implementing NRC's policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, guidelines, and donor requirements in daily logistics activities. Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of the logistics function portfolio according to the Action Plan, providing logistical administration and basic support across all organizational areas, preparing and developing status reports as required by management, ensuring proper documentation for the financial unit, participating in logistical planning and delivery activities, maintaining accurate logistical management records, and promoting ideas for improving logistics functions. Specific duties include assisting in market analysis for procurement, participating in project purchasing planning, executing procurement processes in accordance with organizational policies, managing alternative procurement processes, maintaining accurate records in institutional tools, evaluating suppliers, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), managing warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage and rotation of stock, maintaining asset records, managing fleet operations, and supporting logistics team leaders in fleet management and reporting activities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a technical or technological degree or be in the final semesters of studies in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related fields. A minimum of two years of work experience in support functions within humanitarian contexts is required, along with proven experience in complex and changing environments. Candidates should have a basic understanding of the English language and demonstrate competencies, knowledge, and experience relevant to the logistics context, including solid knowledge in supply chain management, warehouse management, asset management, and transportation management. Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with ERP software are also essential.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a technical or technological degree or being a student in the final semesters of relevant fields such as Business Administration, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or International Business.
