Job Overview:
The position of Coordinador/a de Programas within the Unidad de Gestión Consorcio is crucial for supporting the management of partner organizations in delivering coordinated and effective programs in Rapid Response (RR) and Early Recovery (RT). The role involves maintaining partnerships with other Rapid Response Mechanisms (MRR) present in Colombia, defining and executing consortium strategies in RR and RT, and providing support to the consortium's coordination functions. The primary focus areas for RR and RT are communities affected by mass displacement, mobility restrictions, confinement, and natural disasters. The coordinator will ensure that programs adhere to donor policies and consortium standards while facilitating effective communication and collaboration among various stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Coordinador/a de Programas include ensuring compliance with NRC policies, tools, manuals, and guidelines, as well as those established by the consortium's Steering Committee. The coordinator will support the definition and execution of consortium strategies in RR and RT, ensuring that programs meet the required standards. Responsibilities also include direct support to field teams, ensuring activities are conducted with a 'Do No Harm' approach, and maintaining effective communication with RR and RT representatives from partner organizations. The coordinator will represent the organization in various coordination forums, manage project cycles, and oversee the performance of the Technical Officer of Programs MIRE+. Additionally, the coordinator will prepare internal reports on program implementation and collaborate with grant and finance coordinators to support funding formulation and reporting.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in social sciences, engineering, or related fields, along with a postgraduate qualification in humanitarian action, risk management, human rights, or international law" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">humanitarian law. A minimum of four years of experience in coordination roles within humanitarian operations in complex contexts, particularly with populations affected by conflict or natural disasters in Colombia, is required. Candidates should have experience in project formulation, execution, monitoring, evaluation, and results-based management. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel, is essential. Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is mandatory, while proficiency in English is desirable.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in relevant fields such as social sciences or engineering, complemented by a postgraduate degree in areas related to humanitarian action, risk management, human rights, or international humanitarian law.
