Job Overview: The position of Regional Finance Manager involves overseeing the financial and accounting management of countries within the Central Africa region under the supervision of the Regional Finance Manager. The role is crucial in ensuring the reliability of financial management across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of budget management in the countries, providing technical and strategic support in financial management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, contributing to regional action plans, and assisting in the recruitment and functional management of finance department heads in the field. This position requires a proactive approach to financial oversight and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance the financial operations of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality of budget management across the countries in the Central Africa region.
Provide technical and strategic support in financial management to the countries.
Guarantee compliance with accounting standards for missions.
Contribute to the development of action plans for the region and operations, as well as the development of financial management frameworks and policies.
Assist in the recruitment of Finance Managers for missions and ensure functional management of Finance Department Heads in the field.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for finance staff in the region. 1
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess a Bac +5 degree in finance or accounting. They should have substantial experience in financial management, preferably in the field and ideally within an international NGO headquarters. Previous experience with Action contre la Faim is considered an asset. Proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel and accounting software, is essential. Familiarity with UBW, Saga, and Odoo is a plus. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Additional Notes: This position is classified as a cadre integrated role, with a full-time permanent contract (CDI). The salary ranges from 41,000 to 50,000 euros gross annually, depending on experience, with a seniority bonus applicable after three years of service at the headquarters. Employees are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage and other benefits include 80% coverage by ACF, transport allowances, meal vouchers, and access to social works. Telework is available for all employees within metropolitan territory, with no mandatory in-person presence required except for collective meetings and events, which are limited to three days per month.
