Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Especialista en Investigación de Campo y Acceso a la Financiación de MIPYMES include but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive field research to assess the financing needs of MIPYMES in Equatorial Guinea.
Identifying and analyzing the barriers that MIPYMES face in accessing financial services.
Engaging with local businesses, financial institutions, and government agencies to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
Developing reports and presentations that summarize research findings and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborating with UNDP and other stakeholders to design strategies that enhance financial access for MIPYMES.
Participating in workshops and meetings to present findings and discuss potential solutions with stakeholders.
Providing ongoing support and consultation to MIPYMES regarding financing options and business development.
Ensuring that all research activities comply with ethical standards and UNDP guidelines.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for this position include:
A strong background in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in conducting field research, particularly in the context of small and medium enterprises.
Familiarity with the financial landscape in Equatorial Guinea and the challenges faced by MIPYMES.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in using research tools and software for data analysis.
Educational Background: Candidates should possess at least a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
