Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Especialista en Investigación de Campo y Acceso a la Financiación de MIPYMES include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive field research to assess the financing needs of MIPYMES in Equatorial Guinea.
• Identifying and analyzing the barriers that MIPYMES face in accessing financial services.
• Engaging with local businesses, financial institutions, and government agencies to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
• Developing reports and presentations that summarize research findings and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborating with UNDP and other stakeholders to design strategies that enhance financial access for MIPYMES.
• Participating in workshops and meetings to present findings and discuss potential solutions with stakeholders.
• Providing ongoing support and consultation to MIPYMES regarding financing options and business development.
• Ensuring that all research activities comply with ethical standards and UNDP guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include:

• A strong background in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in conducting field research, particularly in the context of small and medium enterprises.
• Familiarity with the financial landscape in Equatorial Guinea and the challenges faced by MIPYMES.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English.
