Job Overview: The Operations CoordinationAnalyst position is situated within the Office of the Director General (SEOD) of the Southeast Asia Department (SERD) at ADB Headquarters in Manila. This role is crucial for providing analytical, coordination, and administrative support to the SERD front office and management team. The analyst will be responsible for contributing to budget and human resources functions, acting as one of the HR focal points, and collaborating closely with the Operations Coordination Officer. The position requires a proactive approach to consolidating inputs for budget reporting, coordinating departmental human resources administration, and supporting various management processes including recruitment, performance reviews, and departmental initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: The Operations Coordination Analyst will undertake a variety of duties including: consolidating inputs and preparing business travel and staff consultant requirements for budget reporting; coordinating the annual departmental budget request and monitoring its utilization; ensuring compliance with procedures; providing HR and budget-related inputs for corporate planning and management review processes; coordinating human resources administration at ADB Headquarters and resident missions; supporting recruitment and personnel administration; drafting and reviewing staffing proposals and job descriptions; coordinating performance review exercises; participating in finance and administration network activities; supporting consultant recruitment and contract management; coordinating office space management; and collecting, validating, and analyzing data for management reports and presentations. The analyst will also perform other duties as assigned, reflecting the responsibilities outlined in their work plan.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Operations Coordination Analyst position must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in international agencies. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and understand operational processes and procedures of a multilateral development bank. Strong analytical skills are essential, including the capacity to conduct background research, organize and analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports.
