Job Overview:
The People and Culture Officer position at FHI 360 is a vital role within the Asia Pacific Hub located in Bangkok, Thailand. This position is primarily focused on supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, payroll, and training and development. The officer will be responsible for inputting employee personal data into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and generating necessary reports. As the initial point of contact for employees regarding their personal information, the officer will also process various HR-related forms and conduct new employee orientations. This role requires a proactive approach to managing the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and facilitating smooth transitions for employees. The People and Culture Officer will also coordinate visa processing for expatriate staff, making this role crucial for maintaining a compliant and efficient HR operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the People and Culture Officer include coordinating the posting of job openings on both internal and external platforms, maintaining candidate records, and managing the recruitment process from initial contact to hire date. The officer will respond to inquiries from candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth recruitment experience. Additionally, the officer will coordinate visa and work permit renewals for expatriate staff, liaising with relevant government agencies and keeping track of renewal schedules. The onboarding process will involve ensuring that new employees complete necessary documentation and are oriented to FHI 360’s policies. The officer will also manage employee time reporting systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and assist in payroll administration by preparing and updating employee pay information. Furthermore, the officer will support performance management initiatives and coordinate employee recognition programs, contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the People and Culture Officer position should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with an emphasis in business or human resources. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a human resources generalist role, preferably within multinational companies or international non-profit organizations, is required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and HRIS is essential. Prior experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) is preferred, highlighting the need for familiarity with the unique challenges and practices within the sector. Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Thai are mandatory, as effective communication with diverse staff and stakeholders is crucial for this role.

Educational Background:
