Job Overview: The FONGA Coordination & Localisation Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of FONGA's strategies related to coordination and localisation. This position requires a strategic leader who can influence and provide targeted technical and operational support based on the priorities of FONGA members. The Manager will work closely with the FONGA Director, secretariat staff, and strategic partners to enhance inclusive and effective coordination among national NGO forums and advance the localisation agenda at various levels. The role involves monitoring key policy processes and discussions at national, regional, and global levels, ensuring that FONGA's strategies align with the realities faced by its members. The Manager will also be responsible for representing FONGA in external spaces and coordination platforms, thereby strengthening partnerships and enhancing the visibility of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the FONGA Coordination & Localisation Manager include leading the development and implementation of FONGA’s Coordination and Localisation strategies, monitoring key policy discussions, and providing strategic analysis to the Director and members. The Manager will support the development of strategic partnerships, facilitate internal coordination mechanisms, and oversee localisation-related projects. Responsibilities also include ensuring structured reporting and knowledge management, engaging in humanitarian coordination architecture, and providing technical support to country-level NGO forums. Required Qualifications: Candidates for the FONGA Coordination & Localisation Manager position must possess a Master’s degree in a humanitarian-related field, social sciences, or a relevant discipline.
