Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide safe and reliable driving services for UNICEF staff, visitors, and goods, ensuring compliance with local traffic laws and UNICEF safety standards.
Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, lights, battery, brakes, and tires, and arrange for timely service and repairs.
Maintain the vehicle in a clean and secure condition, equipped with necessary supplies such as a first aid kit and fire extinguisher.
Operate the vehicle tracking system to log trip data and support safe driving behavior.
Maintain accurate trip logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and service history.
Use communication devices to maintain contact during field movements and emergencies, and be familiar with emergency response protocols.
Support office operations during idle periods by completing learning modules, assisting with administrative tasks, and participating in team meetings.
Share knowledge and best practices with junior or new drivers when requested.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations. A secondary education is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to UNICEF's core values of care, respect, integrity, trust, accountability, and sustainability. Additionally, candidates should exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
