Job Overview: The position of Online Volunteer for Video Production involves supporting the global launch of the Decade of Impact campaign, which commemorates a ten-year milestone for the Women Count program. The campaign will kick off in March 2026, and a key asset for this campaign will be a compelling two-minute video that showcases the program's successes. The volunteer will work under the supervision of the Outreach and Communication Specialist to create this video, which will include visual animation elements and video clips. The goal is to highlight the achievements of the Women Count program effectively and engagingly, ensuring that the video resonates with diverse audiences and communicates the impact of the program on gender equality and women's empowerment.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteer will be responsible for several key tasks, including:
Supporting the global launch of the Decade of Impact campaign by creating a compelling two-minute video that incorporates visual animation elements and video clips.
Integrating visual elements such as custom illustrations and icons to ensure a cohesive visual narrative throughout the video.
Designing engaging and accessible data visualizations, including graphs, charts, timelines, and infographics, to simplify and effectively communicate complex data and content.
Exporting the final video in two versions: one optimized for social media platforms and another suitable for screening at events.
Collaborating with the Outreach and Communication Specialist to ensure that the video aligns with the campaign's objectives and messaging.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong background in video production and graphic design. They should have experience in creating engaging visual content, particularly in the context of social media and event presentations. Proficiency in video editing software and graphic design tools is essential, as well as a good understanding of data visualization principles.
