Duties and Responsibilities:

They will develop original feature ideas that highlight the positive impact of the UN globally, conduct research and interviews, proofread articles before and after publication, assist with fact-checking and background research, and help produce visual and audio content. Additionally, interns may be assigned other duties as needed, including outreach efforts to promote UN initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for the United Nations New York Headquarters Internship Programme, applicants must meet specific criteria: they should either be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program in communication, journalism, international relations, public administration, English, or translation studies (second university degree or equivalent, or higher), or be in the final academic year of a first university degree program in the same fields (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent).
