Job Overview: The PRISM and Quantum PPM Team Consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of the Performance and Results Integrated System (PRISM) at UN Women. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders to define business requirements, conducting user acceptance testing, and providing training and capacity building for the new project lifecycle management system. The consultant will work closely with the Chief of the Programme SupportManagement Unit (PSMU) and the Head of the Programme Management Office (PMO) to ensure that all project modules are effectively integrated with the existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Quantum. The consultant will also be responsible for maintaining a shared repository of project materials and contributing to knowledge management post-launch, ensuring that lessons learned and best practices are documented and shared with colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to define and document the business case and specifications for the PRISM project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational policies.
Coordinate data integrity efforts, including data clean-up and migration analysis.
Partner with technical experts to ensure smooth integration of PRISM modules with the ERP system.
Develop test scripts and coordinate user acceptance testing with regional and country office focal points.
Prepare and implement a structured roll-out plan for project modules, co-developing guidance notes and user guides.
Deliver hands-on training and provide on-demand technical support during the initial operational phases.
Collect user feedback post-launch and propose improvements for future versions.
Act as the PRISM solution lead, managing the helpdesk and coordinating testing for new functionalities.
Collaborate closely with the Programme Management Consultant on relevant PRISM workstreams.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Relations, Political/Development Studies, or other relevant disciplines. A first-level university degree combined with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. Certifications such as PRINCE2® Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP®), and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) Practitioner are considered assets. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a solid understanding of Results Based Management and project management tools.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Master's degree or equivalent in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Relations, or Development Studies. A first-level university degree may be accepted with additional qualifying experience. Relevant certifications in project management are also beneficial.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in project and programme development, strategic planning, coordination support, or change management is required. Candidates should have international development experience, particularly in project management and gender equality at various levels. Technical experience in project management aspects, including planning, financial management, and stakeholder engagement, is essential. Experience with data migration and application integration tools is highly desirable, as is prior experience within the UN System.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of additional languages such as French or Spanish, or any other UN official language, is considered an asset.
