Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be assigned to one or more workstreams within the SPMU, each focusing on different aspects of strategic planning and management. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of senior-level management meetings, contributing to the development of analytical reports and presentations, and supporting the tracking of decisions made during these meetings. In the UN 2.0 capabilities workstream, interns will help design and implement change management programs, manage community engagement, and develop digital solutions. For the risk management workstream, interns will monitor global trends and assist in the development of the Secretary-General’s Global Risk Report. In the management support workstream, interns will engage in analytics related to UN priorities and resource mobilization, as well as assist in organizing events and meetings. Overall, interns will play a crucial role in supporting the EOSG's strategic objectives and enhancing the effectiveness of the UN's operations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates applying for the UN Internship Programme must meet specific qualifications at the time of application. They should either be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (such as a Master's or Ph.D.) or be in the final year of a Bachelor's degree program.
