Job Overview: The HR Specialist position at FAO's Shared Services Centre in Budapest involves providing comprehensive human resourcessupport services, particularly related to contract management and the administration of entitlements and benefits for International Affiliate Personnel. Duties and Responsibilities: The HR Specialist will perform a variety of duties including: delivering comprehensive HR support services related to contract management and entitlements for International Affiliate Personnel; ensuring compliance with policies and regulations; maintaining and updating confidential personnel records; analyzing cases and providing solutions; handling non-routine and complex HR cases; drafting correspondence and reports; participating in data quality projects; providing information to clients regarding HR procedures; monitoring and processing cases in Service Now; training newcomers; reporting irregularities to supervisors; and performing other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a high school diploma and at least one year of relevant experience in administrative and human resources support work. A working knowledge of English at full proficiency (level C) is required, and candidates must be nationals of Hungary or residents with a valid work permit. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate core competencies such as results focus, teamwork, communication, building effective relationships, and knowledge sharing.
Educational Background: The minimum educational requirement for this position is a high school diploma. Further education or certifications in human resources or related fields may be advantageous but are not explicitly required.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of one year of relevant experience in administrative and human resources support work. This experience should ideally include familiarity with corporate computerized administrative systems, such as Oracle, for processing and analyzing data.
