Job Overview: The Associate Infrastructure Business Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Global Infrastructure Section of UNHCR. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Infrastructure Business Analyst include supporting the day-to-day functioning and continuous improvement of facilities systems, such as UNIFIER. The analyst will provide functional support to users, assist with system configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution related to facilities and infrastructure business processes. They will also support the identification, documentation, and validation of business and information requirements related to facilities, premises, leases, costs, and space utilization. The analyst will define data and information requirements, oversee the lifecycle of data activities, and support the integration of facilities data across enterprise platforms. Additionally, they will develop and maintain GIS dashboards, contribute to global business analysis and reporting, and manage data-related IT initiatives. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to align infrastructure business needs with systems and data outputs, ensuring continuity through knowledge management and documentation.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Associate Infrastructure Business Analyst position include a first-level university degree in information systems, data management, analytics, engineering, business analysis, economics, or related fields. An advanced university degree would be considered an asset. Candidates should also possess relevant certifications, such as the Operational Data Management Learning Program or a Data Analytics Professional Certificate. Familiarity with UN system policies and standards is preferred, along with knowledge of the Oracle-Unifier platform for Facilities Management. Technical skills in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI, are essential, as well as experience with ERP systems and data integration concepts.
Educational Background: Candidates must have a first-level university degree in a relevant field such as information systems, data management, analytics, engineering, business analysis, or economics. Experience: The position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the UN system. Candidates should have a solid understanding of UN policies, standards, and operations.
