Duties and Responsibilities: The Project Assistant will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
Assisting in the formulation of annual and quarterly workplans to ensure alignment with UNFPA regulations.
Compiling and analyzing data related to cervical cancer for planning and reporting purposes.
Coordinating the implementation of assigned projects with national counterparts and ensuring their active participation in training activities.
Organizing field visits, meetings, workshops, and events, and preparing reports on the status and progress of projects.
Supporting communication efforts, including preparing key messages and materials for media engagements.
Guiding partners on UNFPA regulations and procedures.
Assisting in advocacy and resource mobilization efforts by maintaining a network of contacts and organizing donor meetings.
Implementing knowledge management strategies to capture and share lessons learned and best practices.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess completed Secondary Level Education as a minimum requirement, while a first-level university degree is desirable. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in current office software applications and corporate IT systems. The role requires a strong commitment to UNFPA's values and competencies, including integrity, accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
Educational Background: The educational requirements for this position include at least completed Secondary Level Education, with a preference for candidates who have obtained a first-level university degree.
