Job Overview: The Fundraising Analytics Contractor position is designed to support the Private Sector and Partnership (PSP) Global Analysis Team at UNHCR. This role is crucial in maximizing the deployment of insights for fundraising impact across various markets. The contractor will work part-time, approximately 2-3 days a week, and will be responsible for delivering in-depth analyses, optimizing data models, and enhancing reporting systems. The position aims to improve fundraising strategies by providing timely insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis. The contractor will also play a key role in knowledge transfer, helping to create a knowledge academy for UNHCR analysts, thereby promoting a culture of learning and sharing within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The contractor will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
Conducting in-depth Lifetime Value (LTV) analysis and presenting findings through webinars and comprehensive PowerPoint presentations.
Redesigning LTV reports to enhance accessibility and usability for various stakeholders.
Optimizing data models to support the development of new reports and collaborating with the engineering team to standardize the LTV model.
Supporting the Crescendo project by offering training sessions and delivering necessary files to approximately 15 markets.
Consolidating insights from multiple countries into a comprehensive report that highlights key metrics such as retention, upgrades, conversion rates, ROI, and LTV.
Providing detailed documentation for developed D360 models and ensuring guidelines for LTV measurement are available for market use.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, programming, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of 8 years of experience in programming, data analysis, or related fields is required. Essential competencies include familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, along with a high attention to detail to ensure data quality and accuracy. Desirable qualifications include experience in the charitable sector, particularly in fundraising analysis, and excellent communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management or Data Science. This foundational knowledge is essential for understanding the complexities of data analysis and its application in fundraising strategies.
Experience: The position requires a significant level of experience, specifically a minimum of 8 years in programming, data analysis, or related fields. This experience should demonstrate a strong capability in delivering scalable and efficient data solutions, as well as a proven track record in analytical roles, particularly within the context of fundraising or the charitable sector.
