Job Overview: The Consortium RRM Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the operational functioning of the MOZ-RRM consortium. This position is vital for facilitating coordination among consortium members and partners, ensuring effective communication and information flow. The Coordinator is responsible for tracking alerts, conducting rapid needs assessments, and maintaining an overview of sectoral coverage and partner involvement. Additionally, the role involves supporting SI Programme and Area Coordinators in monitoring activities under the RRM, ensuring alignment with response plans and commitments. Given the start-up nature of the mechanism, the Coordinator will also contribute to defining and documenting operating procedures and workflows during the initial implementation phase.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the establishment and operationalization of CMU coordination workflows, tools, and SOPs.
Take over and consolidate operational tracking of alerts, RNAs, response plans, and ongoing activations under the MOZ-RRM.
Maintain clear coordination and information-sharing routines with consortium members, geographical leads, and SI teams.
Support the consolidation of pooled-fund tracking and provide regular operational updates to the CMU.
Assist SI Programme and Area Coordinators in monitoring RRM activities and flagging operational risks or delays.
Actively participate in consortium coordination forums and ensure follow-up on action points.
Facilitate information flow and track alerts and response plans across multiple partners and sectors.
Contribute to the definition and documentation of CMU operating procedures and coordination workflows.
Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in humanitarian action, development, law" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">international law, or a related technical area.
3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
0-2 years of experience in a similar position.
Strong project cycle management skills, with the ability to coordinate and support project managers and MEAL teams.
Proven coordination and operational follow-up capacities in emergency and multi-partner settings.
Excellent writing and synthesis skills for operational updates and reporting.
Educational Background: A Master’s degree in humanitarian action, development, international law, or any other technical area related to the humanitarian sector is required for this position. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of humanitarian operations and the legal frameworks that govern them.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, with at least 0-2 years in a similar position. This experience is crucial for navigating the challenges of multi-actor coordination and responding to sudden-onset emergencies effectively.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in Portuguese is considered a strong asset, while knowledge of Spanish or Italian is also advantageous. These language skills are important for effective communication with diverse stakeholders and partners in the field.

The salary for this position starts from EUR 2860 gross per month, which includes a base salary and an annual leave allowance.
