Duties and Responsibilities: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Online Volunteer include:
Translating AFSIT promotional materials, including brochures and annual reviews, from English to French.
Translating the AFSIT Annual Report 2025 from English into French.
Translating AFSIT Policy Papers from English into French.
Translating additional AFSIT workshop and dialogue outcome reports from English into French as required.
Ensuring that all translations maintain the original meaning and context while being culturally appropriate for the target audience.
Collaborating with the AFSIT team to clarify any ambiguities in the source documents and to ensure the accuracy of the translations.
Meeting deadlines for the translation of documents to support timely dissemination of information.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience in translation, specifically from English to French, with a strong understanding of both languages.
