Job Overview:
The Project Messenger position is integral to the operational efficiency of the Activating Village Courts in Bangladesh Project (AVCB). This role involves providing essential support for daily office management, document handling, and logistical assistance for meetings and events. The Project Messenger will be responsible for ensuring that communication flows smoothly within the office and that all necessary materials are prepared and distributed effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and supporting project teams, ensuring that the project objectives are met efficiently. The Project Messenger will report to the Operations Analyst and work closely with other project officials, contributing to the overall success of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Messenger will undertake a variety of duties, including: 1) Providing messenger services for daily office management, which includes operating office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and fax machines, as well as compiling and organizing documents as per the finance unit's instructions. 2) Collecting and distributing incoming and outgoing documents, checking mailboxes, and ensuring timely dissemination of information to respective units. 3) Supporting the organization of meetings, workshops, and events by preparing materials, managing logistics, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available. 4) Assisting in the distribution of printed materials and knowledge products to project field offices. 5) Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient functioning of the office and the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess secondary education as a minimum requirement. Experience as support staff or messenger is essential, along with operational skills in using office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers. Familiarity with email correspondence and relevant experience in a similar role, particularly within a development organization or international organization, is highly desirable. Computer literacy is also required to perform the job effectively.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position is secondary education. This foundational level of education is necessary to ensure that candidates have the basic skills needed to perform the duties associated with the role of Project Messenger.

Experience:
Candidates should have relevant experience working as support staff or in a similar messenger role. Experience with operational office equipment and familiarity with the workings of a development organization, especially international organizations, is preferred. This experience will help candidates to navigate the responsibilities of the position effectively and contribute to the project's success.

Languages:
Fluency in both English and Bangla is required for this position. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication within the office and with external stakeholders, ensuring that all documentation and correspondence are handled appropriately.
