Job Overview: The position of Administrative Support is crucial within the Department of Technical Cooperation (TC) at the IAEA. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Support position include:
Contributing to project design by ensuring human resource implementation aspects are considered;
Preparing implementation work plans for the Section;
Coordinating the timely implementation of human resource activities for all projects;
Distributing requests for experts, fellows, scientific visitors, and training courses;
Monitoring human resource implementation work plans and analyzing implementation statistics;
Overseeing the processing of human resource implementation actions and identifying constraints;
Recruiting experts and arranging training courses, particularly for complex cases;
Acting as a process leader for one implementation component and providing guidance and training to staff;
Reviewing requests and ensuring compliance with established policies; 1
Authorizing and certifying administrative transactions; 1
Providing advice and proposing solutions for deviations from standard practices.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Administrative Support position include:
Completed secondary education;
A minimum of six years of relevant working experience in a clerical or administrative position, with some experience in an international organization;
Experience in project or personnel administration and arranging training courses;
Excellent oral and written command of English;
Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is considered an asset;
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail;
Ability to draft correspondence and present information clearly.
