Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteers will be responsible for several key tasks, including:
Selecting appropriate mentoring and training methods tailored to the needs of youth applicants.
Developing a comprehensive outline of content that captures essential information based on the Call’s guidelines and templates.
Creating a detailed coaching/training plan that includes a schedule of sessions, exercises, and timelines.
Conducting one-on-one coaching and training sessions with youth applicants, focusing on project management, work planning, and budgeting principles.
Providing ongoing support and guidance to applicants throughout the proposal preparation process.
Submitting a detailed report at the end of the assignment, summarizing the sessions held and the outcomes achieved. Volunteers will collaborate closely with the UNDP Rome Centre’s Youth4Climate team to ensure the effectiveness of the mentoring process.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in project management and design, with the ability to guide youth applicants in developing realistic project plans and budgets.
