Established to provide effective integration solutions, DRC operates in Denmark and collaborates with public authorities, businesses, and civil society to enhance employment opportunities and the well-being of children, youth, and families. The organization is supported by over 4,500 volunteers in Denmark and has a team of approximately 30 employees at its headquarters located at Lyngbyvej 100, 2100 København Ø. DRC Integration focuses on delivering documented integration solutions and supports various processes and development initiatives across its sections, including fundraising, documentation, quality assurance, and organizational development.

Job Overview:
The position of Studentermedarbejder is designed for a student who is willing to work 10 hours a week, primarily focusing on fundraising efforts to secure relevant initiatives for the target group, which includes refugees and ethnic minorities. The main responsibility will be to assist the fundraising consultant with tasks related to grant applications, communication with funding bodies, reporting, and various administrative duties. The role requires a high degree of independence and flexibility in planning workdays, ensuring that the student can balance their academic commitments with the responsibilities of the position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Studentermedarbejder include proofreading and formatting documents and grant applications, conducting research on foundations and public funding opportunities, gathering data and statistics for use in applications, managing grant letters and similar documents, supporting writing tasks such as applications, reports, and thank-you letters, and performing various ad-hoc tasks as needed. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization can effectively communicate its needs and secure funding for its initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in a relevant higher education program and possess strong organizational skills, a sense of responsibility, and attention to detail. The ability to prioritize tasks effectively is essential, along with strong written communication skills. Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe is considered an advantage, as it may enhance the quality of the applications and documents produced.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should be pursuing a relevant long-term higher education degree, which aligns with the responsibilities of the position. This educational background is essential to ensure that the student can contribute effectively to the fundraising efforts and understand the complexities of the integration field.

Experience:
While specific prior experience in fundraising is not mandatory, any relevant experience in administrative roles, research, or writing will be beneficial. The organization values a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn, which can compensate for a lack of direct experience in the field.

Languages:
The primary working language for this position is Danish, and proficiency in Danish is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly if they relate to the target groups served by DRC.
