Job Overview: The Resource Mobilization Officer UNV position at UNICEF Venezuela is integral to the organization's resource mobilization strategy. The officer will contribute to the production of high-quality, results-based documents in both English and Spanish, collaborating with various programs such as Health, Nutrition, Education, Child Protection, and WASH. The position is based in Caracas and reports to the Partnerships Specialist (P-3). The UNV will also support the preparation of donor missions and events, ensuring that all outputs meet the required standards and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Resource Mobilization Officer UNV include:
Supporting program teams in producing high-quality donor-related documents, including analytical narrative reports, logical frameworks, and budgets, ensuring timely submission by internal deadlines.
Developing analytical donor profiles and conducting partnerships mapping and landscape analysis.
Assisting in identifying fundraising opportunities within the public and private sectors.
Creating interactive PowerPoint presentations and drafting technical and thematic concept notes.
Supporting the preparation of donor events, including field missions, meetings, and virtual activities.
Translating documents between Spanish and English, requiring a robust command of both languages.
Proofreading and cross-checking figures and references for accuracy.
Ensuring clarity and comprehension in documents while adhering to UNICEF terminology and donor guidelines.
Archiving partnership documentation on SharePoint in an organized manner. 1
Performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a strong background in resource mobilization and document preparation. Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
