Job Overview:
The position of Associado(a) técnico(a) para prevenção e enfrentamento ao racismo no judiciário involves strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of activities related to combating racism within the judiciary system. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the project coordinator, focusing on the implementation of the project BRA/23/02
  • This role requires a proactive approach to engage in discussions about central themes, collaborate effectively with team members, and ensure the quality of technical actions. The candidate is expected to contribute to the cohesion of various thematic axes within the project, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives and best practices in project implementation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Execute and technically monitor actions within the designated axis, supporting the implementation of activities under the project coordinator's supervision.
  • Plan and monitor timelines, strategies, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with expected outcomes and adherence to project objectives.
  • Ensure technical quality and compliance with UNDP and CNJ guidelines, collaborating closely with project coordination.
  • Support knowledge dissemination and the production of technical documents, contributing to reports and drafting technical notes and presentations.
  • Assist in HR processes and other tasks compatible with the functional profile, including involvement in recruitment and training activities. The incumbent may also perform additional functions deemed necessary for the project's success.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience (or 4 years with a university degree) in areas related to combating racism, racial discussions in contemporary Brazil, or race-related issues. Proficiency in information technology is required, along with excellent oral and written communication skills for producing reports and technical documents. Experience in executing social projects or research on race, access to justice, and working with the justice system is highly desirable.

Educational Background:
A high school diploma is required, while a university degree in Human or Social Sciences will be given due consideration but is not mandatory. Candidates with relevant experience may still qualify without a degree.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a high school diploma, or 4 years for those with a university degree. Experience in social projects or research focused on race and justice is particularly valuable.

Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, while a basic level of English is desirable. Proficiency in additional languages may enhance a candidate's application.
