Job Overview: The Human Resources Specialist will serve as a key business partner, providing advice on all aspects of the employment life cycle. This role requires proactive engagement with clients to resolve HR issues while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The specialist will contribute to the formulation and implementation of corporate HR strategies, liaising with various divisions and offices to enhance HR systems and processes. The position also involves designing and delivering learning plans to enhance staff skills and competencies, as well as analyzing HR data to inform strategic decision-making. The specialist will play a crucial role in promoting gender equity and cultural diversity within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for HR advice within the assigned client portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate guidance on HR processes.
Proactively address HR issues, advocating for equitable solutions that protect both staff and organizational interests.
Collaborate with HQ and regional offices to support HR strategy development and implementation.
Analyze and synthesize HR data to inform strategic decisions and improve HR processes.
Strong strategic and technical HR skills, with the ability to implement innovative HR strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences.
Educational Background: An Advanced University Degree in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology, or another related field is required for this position. This educational background is essential to understand the complexities of human resources in an international context and to effectively contribute to the organization's mission.
Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in human resource management, preferably within an international organization or large corporation. Experience in emergency contexts will be considered an added advantage, as it demonstrates the ability to operate effectively in challenging environments and adapt HR strategies accordingly.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of Arabic is considered an asset, as it enhances communication with local stakeholders and staff, thereby improving the effectiveness of HR initiatives and support.
