Job Overview:
As a Chargé(e) Marketing Relationnel, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the financial independence of Handicap International by developing private funding sources from individuals, major donors, legacies, businesses, and private foundations/institutions. You will also be involved in organizing high-potential events that align with the organization's multi-year strategy. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Marketing Relationnel Manager in developing a comprehensive relational marketing strategy and an ambitious action plan, as well as fostering strategic relationships to enhance private fundraising efforts. This position requires a proactive approach to building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that the organization can effectively grow its private funding base.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The main objectives of the position include:
  • Monitoring strategic relationships with companies, foundations, and major patrons.
  • Managing the relational cycle of major private donors and developing this segment.
  • Organizing and overseeing impactful events for Handicap International, targeting businesses, institutions, and patrons.
  • Creating marketing tools and producing reports to track progress and outcomes.
  • Conducting research on philanthropy trends and best practices to inform strategy and actions. This role requires a dynamic, organized, and creative individual who is eager to actively participate in the missions of Handicap International in Luxembourg and is sensitive to the organization's values and issues.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of relational marketing and fundraising strategies. They should be rigorous, possess a synthesis mindset, and have excellent writing skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with a reputation for positivity and kindness. A thorough knowledge of the solidarity sector in Luxembourg and internationally, as well as the challenges associated with diversifying funding sources, is highly desirable.

Educational Background:
