Job Overview:
The position of Associate at WJCF involves leading analytical, strategic, and implementation workstreams across the Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, and Newborn Health (SRMNH) portfolio. The Associate will be responsible for driving high-quality analyses, designing frameworks for intervention models, and managing relationships with government stakeholders. This role requires a strong problem-solving ability and the capacity to work independently in complex environments. The Associate will guide program execution, develop strategic documentation, and ensure the timely delivery of key outputs, contributing to the overall goal of expanding access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services and strengthening maternal and newborn care across India.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate will lead various analytical and programmatic workstreams, focusing on evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning. Responsibilities include overseeing the development of dashboards and monitoring frameworks, guiding advanced analyses on health outcomes, directing structured research efforts, designing pilot frameworks, and building relationships with government officials and partners. The role also involves ensuring the quality and timeliness of program outputs, mentoring junior staff, identifying new opportunities, and representing WJCF in high-level forums. The Associate will be expected to drive stakeholder engagement strategies and develop high-quality proposals for funding and partnerships.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Economics, Business, Population Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in demanding environments is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience in advanced analytics projects. Strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential. The ability to multitask and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders is also crucial for success in this role.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant fields such as Public Health, Economics, Business, Population Studies, or Social Sciences. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of health systems and the analytical skills needed for the role.

Experience:
The position requires at least 4 years of professional experience in results-oriented environments, ideally within public or private sectors. Experience with advanced analytics projects is considered a plus, as is a demonstrated ability to lead large projects and design interventions. Candidates should have a proven track record of contributing to proposal and concept note development.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory, both written and verbal. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication with diverse stakeholders and for the preparation of high-quality presentations and analyses. Additional language skills may be advantageous but are not required.
