Duties and Responsibilities: The Cook/Dishwasher will have a range of responsibilities under the supervision of the National Building Maintenance Officer. Key duties include: assisting in the preparation of lunch according to the daily menu and meal timings, serving lunch in the office's canteen five times a week, maintaining records of food supplies and household items in the kitchen, serving refreshments and meals to visiting officials, cleaning all kitchen utensils daily, washing and drying crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils after each meal, disposing of food waste and packaging daily, incinerating accumulated waste at least once a week, cleaning and disinfecting the office canteen area weekly, conducting deep cleaning of the kitchen once a month, and performing other duties as required by the office.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of primary education and at least two years of relevant working experience in dishwashing, cooking, and serving in a canteen setting. Essential skills include knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as cleaning materials and solutions. Candidates should demonstrate good communication skills, be team players, and possess gender awareness and sensitivity.
