Job Overview: The Spinco Technical Team Coordinator is a pivotal role within the SPINCO team, which is responsible for delivering a suite of solutions that serve as the central source of trusted product information for MSF’s internal processes. The Coordinator will oversee the quality of information within SPINCO’s systems, maintain and develop tools, and support users in their operations. This position is crucial for driving effective collaboration across the MSF movement in relation to product management. The SPINCO team is currently modernizing its ecosystem, and the Coordinator will play a key role in this transformation. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to ensure that SPINCO’s ICT solutions align with the organization’s goals and effectively support its operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Team and Vendor Management: Lead, manage, and develop the Spinco Technical Team and external vendor portfolio to ensure optimal performance. This includes fostering team engagement, monitoring workloads, and ensuring the well-being of team members. Resource planning for the Technical Team and external vendors to support Spinco projects is also essential.
Solution Management and Innovation: Accountable for the performance and development of Spinco solutions, ensuring alignment with the strategic objectives of SPINCO and MSF. This includes setting up and monitoring internal technical metrics to steer and improve system performance. The Coordinator will also monitor market trends and innovations, identifying opportunities for improvement and future-proofing solutions.

Contract and Budget Management: Prepare and manage contracts with external vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to performance standards and budget constraints. The Coordinator will also manage the budget for the Spinco Technical Team and innovation initiatives, overseeing billing processes related to product and service delivery.
Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with the Spinco Coordination Team to ensure alignment and coordination of activities between the Technical Team, other Spinco teams, and partners. Provide expertise and leadership in the modernization of Spinco’s master data ecosystem, including UI, data migration, data quality improvements, and workflow optimization. Coordinate plans and activities across MSF entities, fostering meaningful relationships with other internal technical teams to benefit MSF as a whole.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Spinco Technical Team Coordinator position should possess a strong technical background in ICT solutions, with experience in managing technical teams and projects. They should have a proven track record of leading teams, fostering collaboration, and driving innovation. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with product management and supply chain processes in a humanitarian context is highly desirable. The candidate should also demonstrate a commitment to MSF's humanitarian principles and values.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required. A master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area is preferred. Additional certifications in project management, IT governance, or related disciplines would be advantageous.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably within the humanitarian or non-profit sector. Experience in managing ICT projects, leading technical teams, and working with external vendors is essential. Familiarity with supply chain management and product information systems is a plus.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in French or Spanish is considered an asset. Knowledge of additional languages relevant to MSF's operational contexts would be beneficial.
Additional Notes: The position is a permanent contract with a workload of 80%-100%. The successful candidate will be offered a contract in the MSF office of their country of residence at the time of application. Compensation and benefits will be in line with the MSF entity offering the contract. The starting date for this position is as soon as possible.
