Duties and Responsibilities: The Online Volunteer will be responsible for the following duties:
Collaborate with the Human Rights Officer to understand the specific needs and objectives of the upcoming funding proposals.
Conduct research on potential institutional donors and their funding priorities to align proposals accordingly.
Draft comprehensive project proposals that include detailed narratives, work plans, and budgets.
Revise and edit proposals based on feedback from the Head of Office and the Human Rights Officer.
Ensure that all proposals adhere to the guidelines and requirements set by the funding institutions.
Maintain clear communication with the team to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Assist in the preparation of any supplementary materials required for the funding submissions.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong writing and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written documents. Familiarity with fundraising processes and proposal writing is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should have a good understanding of human rights issues and the context in which the UN operates in Moldova. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively is essential.
