Job Overview: The Finance Officer position is crucial for the administration and delivery of financial and procurement services for development cooperation projects implemented by the ILO Country Office for Ukraine. The officer will assist in managing financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payment approvals, and monthly account closings. Additionally, the Finance Officer will coordinate project budget preparations, review budget submissions, monitor expenditures, and liaise with managers to strengthen budget management. The role also involves supporting the monitoring of project implementation, identifying potential bottlenecks, and recommending corrective measures. The Finance Officer will ensure efficient local banking arrangements, prepare cash flow forecasts, and follow up on audit recommendations. Furthermore, the officer will share knowledge and provide guidance to colleagues, including organizing training on financial matters, and will draft lessons learned and develop standard operating procedures as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in business management, finance, or a relevant field.
