Job Overview:
The Regional Marketing Officer (RMO) for the Asia Region plays a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and engagement of Catholic Relief Services (CRS) across various country programs and among key stakeholders. The RMO is responsible for delivering high-quality marketing materials that effectively communicate CRS's impact and value to donors and partners. This position serves as the regional focal point for marketing efforts, collaborating closely with regional and country program teams to ensure that marketing strategies align with both agency-wide and regional priorities. The RMO will support the design, implementation, and completion of centrally supported marketing initiatives, contributing to strategic engagement priorities through the collection and dissemination of impactful materials. The role also involves mentoring and guiding staff to strengthen communications capacity across the region, ensuring that all content produced meets CRS's editorial standards and brand guidelines. The RMO will be instrumental in producing timely and compelling content that highlights CRS's mission and engages donors effectively, particularly during high-visibility moments and crises.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Regional Marketing Officer include serving as the primary point of coordination for communications and strategy between regional leadership, country programs, and cross-agency communications teams. The RMO will translate complex technical program information into clear, audience-appropriate language, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of all programmatic content. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Regional/Country Program Leadership and Institutional Funding teams, to produce compelling content that enhances donor engagement and strengthens CRS's positioning. The RMO will apply a 'magic triangle' marketing approach that integrates audience insights, creative storytelling, and strategic objectives to ensure effective communication of donor priorities and program impact. Additionally, the RMO will oversee the collection and dissemination of regional marketing materials, provide strategic messaging guidance, and contribute to the planning and execution of communications for VIP visits. The role also involves mentoring country communications staff and producing high-quality marketing materials that support both long-term campaigns and urgent needs.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Regional Marketing Officer position must possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in communications and/or marketing is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience working with international non-governmental organizations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of various audiences, including institutional donors and peer organizations, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in graphic design platforms such as Adobe, InDesign, and Canva is essential, along with strong research, analytical, and storytelling skills. The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and able to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines, while also being flexible and respectful of guidance from those closest to the issues.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for the Regional Marketing Officer position includes a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Experience:

Additional Notes:
The Regional Marketing Officer position is a full-time role based in the Philippines, with an expectation of travel up to 30% of the time. The successful candidate will not have supervisory responsibilities but will play a key role in mentoring and supporting country communications staff.
