The position of Especialista Pedagógico del Proyecto UNESCO-Quellaveco-REIMAGINA is focused on providing technical assistance and promoting the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT) into pedagogical practices within educational institutions involved in the UNESCO-Quellaveco project. This role is crucial in ensuring that educational leaders and teachers effectively adopt technology in their teaching methods. The project aims to enhance the learning experiences of 12,000 students in the Moquegua region of Peru, making it one of the top educational regions in the country. The specialist will work closely with educational institutions to develop innovative methodologies that enrich academic experiences and foster socio-emotional and digital skills among students. The position requires a proactive approach to planning, coordinating, and implementing educational strategies that align with the project's objectives and the needs of the community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Especialista Pedagógico include conducting diagnostic visits to assigned educational institutions, developing tailored technical assistance plans, and ensuring regular follow-up visits to monitor progress. The specialist will be responsible for planning and managing training needs related to ICT for various educational stakeholders, promoting the use of technology in learning activities, and ensuring that educational projects address real community issues. Additionally, the specialist will assist teachers in integrating ICT into their curriculum design and pedagogical practices, develop and facilitate training workshops, and evaluate the impact of technology on teaching practices. The role also involves monitoring the implementation of learning projects, documenting best practices, and collaborating with educational teams to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in fields such as Computer Science, Education, Social Sciences, or related areas. A specialization in educational technologies, e-learning, or virtual environments is desirable. The position requires a minimum of 8 years of general experience in the public or private education sector, with at least 4 years of experience in educational institutions leading technology integration initiatives or teacher training in digital competencies. Experience in community engagement in education or managing learning networks using ICT is also required. Candidates with experience in intercultural projects and developing digital competencies in diverse populations will be given preference.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields such as Informatics, Systems Engineering, Education, or Social Sciences.
