Job Overview: The Partnerships Officer will play a crucial role in developing and managing high-value partnerships that support the Government of Indonesia-UNICEF Country Programme. This position focuses on establishing and enhancing relationships with high-value partners, including corporations, foundations, and major donors. The officer will be responsible for executing a comprehensive strategy for high-value partnerships, ensuring that existing partnerships are strengthened, and that new opportunities for collaboration are identified and pursued. The Partnerships Officer will work closely with various stakeholders, including communication and program staff, to develop integrated materials that promote UNICEF's work and raise public awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Partnerships Officer's responsibilities include coordinating the development of prospective partners from initial contact to final approval, managing the implementation of partnerships, and cultivating existing corporate relationships. The officer will assess the market for new partnership opportunities, research prospects, and develop partnership proposals in collaboration with relevant teams. Administrative tasks related to fundraising activities, such as obtaining necessary approvals and managing budgets, will also be part of the role. Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a University Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, or a related field. A minimum of one year of professional experience in business development, fundraising, marketing, or communication activities is required. Experience managing fundraising activities with private sector organizations is an asset, as is familiarity with social marketing and advocacy techniques. Knowledge of market research methods and experience working with NGOs or in the private sector will be beneficial.
Educational Background: A University Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or Communications is essential for this position. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding business development and partnership management.
Experience: The position requires at least one year of professional experience in business development and management, particularly in fundraising, marketing, or communication activities.
