Job Overview:
The IVY 2026 campaign is a strategic initiative aimed at promoting volunteerism and youth engagement both in Zimbabwe and globally through dynamic online outreach. This campaign is designed to run for a duration of 8 weeks, utilizing social media platforms to amplify key messages, encourage participation, and highlight the impact of volunteerism. The campaign will require the involvement of four online volunteers who will be responsible for creating and managing content specifically for social media platforms, with two volunteers assigned to Twitter and two to Facebook. Volunteers will be expected to develop engaging, creative, and visually appealing content that aligns with UNV’s communication strategy and the objectives of the campaign. They will also be tasked with posting at least one update per week on their respective platforms, which translates to approximately 8 posts per volunteer throughout the campaign period. Collaboration among volunteers and with the UNV Zimbabwe team will be essential to ensure coherence and consistency in messaging, and volunteers will utilize a Trello board containing pre-drafted key messages as a foundation for their content creation. Additionally, volunteers will be encouraged to suggest strategies aimed at increasing reach and engagement, particularly among youth and potential volunteers, and will monitor and analyze engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of the campaign.
