Job Overview: The Senior Audiovisual Communications Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the communications objectives of the IOM by ensuring brand compliance and producing high-quality audiovisual and graphic content. This position involves collaborating with the Regional Director and the Senior Regional Media and Communications Officer to develop and implement multimedia activities that enhance the organization's visibility and engagement across both digital and traditional platforms. Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the application of IOM branding guidelines and visual identity standards in all audiovisual and graphic outputs.
Maintain consistency in tone, style, and overall quality across all multimedia products.
Capture photographs and video footage for campaigns, events, and field activities, collaborating with Regional Office staff and mission communications focal points.
Edit videos for various platforms, including social media, web, and broadcast, ensuring the inclusion of subtitles, motion graphics, and branding elements.
Prepare and layout infographics, social media cards, and other visual assets for both digital and print channels.
Operate photography and videography equipment to produce high-quality audiovisual materials.
Stay updated on emerging trends in digital storytelling and multimedia production to enhance the team's capabilities.
Collaborate closely with the communications team to generate creative ideas and ensure timely delivery of multimedia content. 1

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Multimedia Design, Graphic Arts, or a related field from an accredited academic institution, with five years of relevant professional experience; or a High school diploma with seven years of relevant professional experience.
Proven experience in photography, videography, and video editing specifically for institutional or corporate communications.
Demonstrated ability to produce infographics and other graphic design outputs.
Familiarity with social media platforms and the optimization of multimedia content for digital channels.
Previous experience working with UN or NGO organizations, particularly in the field of migration, is considered an asset.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Multimedia Design, Graphic Arts, or a related field from an accredited institution. Alternatively, candidates with a High school diploma may qualify if they have seven years of relevant professional experience. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for the role.
