Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: supporting the collection, curation, and dissemination of knowledge products such as case studies, impact stories, lessons learned, and reports; assisting in the development and management of GGKP knowledge partnerships, initiatives, tools, and solutions; contributing to the planning and implementation of GGKP virtual and onsite events, including a major virtual event focused on green growth and innovation; helping to improve and maintain the GGKP photo repository; providing input on and assisting with the design of outreach materials like social media cards, infographics, flyers, and videos; updating the GGKP homepage to reflect new initiatives and developments; supporting content development and community engagement on GGKP’s online platform, the Green Forum; drafting and curating posts, moderating discussion groups, and updating thematic pages; assisting in researching and gathering content for GGKP’s monthly Knowledge Update; and performing other communications and outreach tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should be students enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in fields such as international development, environmental studies, communications, marketing, design, or related areas, preferably with a significant teamwork component. Recent graduates within one year of graduation and undergraduates in their final year are also eligible to apply. Previous experience in communications, marketing, or creative work in a professional, English-speaking context is desirable. Proven computer literacy in standard office software applications is required, along with a willingness to learn new tools.
